This grand example of Cortina's ostentatiousness is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World chain. Although it is unquestionably a fine place to stay - the indoor pool is great, the rooms are plush and the breakfast is what you would expect from a 5star hotel, it is questionable whether it is of a standard commensurate with its price tag. The staff have a shockingly frequent disposition of arrogance and unhelpfullness, and the furnishings are nice without being outstanding 5 star quality. A beautiful place to stay, but those seeking unparalleled luxury may not be completely satisfied.
